If there is ground to be broken and innovations to be pioneered, you can almost always bet that Microgaming is involved. Since 1994, this software developer has been building a name for itself in the iGaming industry, encouraging constant growth to ensure that its players never go without great gaming products.
From the get-go, this company has been involved in some of the most revolutionary technologies to ever be introduced to the online gaming field. It all started with Microgaming’s first online casino, which would later be verified as the world’s first. Since then, the developer has gone from strength to strength, creating safety systems, founding the gaming regulatory body eCOGRA, and adding to their extensive portfolio of over 600 casino games.
Today, Microgaming continues to regularly release new online slots and casino games, along with pioneering brand new bonus features and graphical capabilities for the online gaming realm. Best of all, now those who think they have what it takes can join this expert developer in their new apprenticeship programme to learn all the tricks of a trade and then some!
Invaluable learning opportunities offered to bright minds
Microgaming is set to launch its brand new apprenticeship scheme this coming month, calling out to the leaders of its future and offering them invaluable learning opportunities. The Microgaming eGaming Apprenticeship will allow the brightest and most enthusiastic applicants to show off their skills and whether or not they have what it takes to build a promising career in eGaming.
The online software company has called out to any applicants – regardless of whether or not they are graduates or hold any tertiary qualifications – who are keen to begin forging a career in this highly challenging, dynamic, and ever-changing realm. This esteemed company is continuously growing and looking for fresh blood and fresh ideas – in fact, they employ over 100 people on the Isle of Man alone!
So prolific is Microgaming’s presence in their HQ territory that they have even unveiled plans to build a second office adjacent to their original premises. For those who are interested, the new offices bring with them several new job opportunities at the company itself.
Two-year accelerated eGaming learning inductions
Microgaming’s apprenticeship programme will run as a structured two year scheme that offers an accelerated learning induction to the industry. Applicants who join the programme will be given a comprehensive introduction into the world of eGaming business, which will in turn enable them to gain plenty of experience within the industry and complete specialised eGaming training.
The purpose of the apprenticeship is to give applicants a firm footing in the industry, as well as the chance to prove themselves to the experts at Microgaming too. The training on offer includes the exciting prospect of working with Microgaming’s own products and technology teams, as well as accounts, customer service, and games team sectors. This is to name but a few of the divisions into which applicants will be given a premium intro!
Applicants to travel internationally during course
The programme only gets better from there. Seeing as Microgaming is a global developer with offices based on every continent, applicants to their apprenticeship will have the exclusive opportunity to travel around the world as they learn more about the industry and expand their business know-how.
Leila Ashton, Microgaming’s Director of HR, has issued some great words of encouragement for anyone who is interested in joining the programme. The director has stated that her company’s apprenticeship scheme is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to cement a career in the eGaming industry but do not yet know the extent of their skills.
The candidates, Ashton said, will be able to learn numerous business skills in a stimulating and fast-paced environment. She encourages anyone who is interested and believes that they’re right for the programme to sign up as soon as possible, saying that Microgaming “really want[s] to hear from you!”
How to register your interest
If you’re intrigued by the idea of joining Microgaming’s apprenticeship – or you think that you have what it takes to succeed in eGaming – it couldn’t be easier to register your interest. Microgaming will be holding an informal Apprenticeship Open Evening at their Isle of Man headquarters on Wednesday, 7 December 2016. The developer’s headquarters are situated at MGS House on Circular Road, and the open evening will kick off from 16h30 on the day in question.
This will give potential applicants a chance to learn more about what the programme offers, and hopefully help them to discern whether or not it’s right for them. To register your interest, Microgaming has released a request that you email them directly to do so. Along with the email, you should also include your name and contact details so that you can be added to the roster.
